BOOKING & APPOINTMENT INFO
To book an appointment: please contact via email or DM with: your name, what you’d like to get (custom, flash, or choose flash at the appointment), and your availability. I usually book on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the day, but may be able to accommodate other times if needed. If you have a preference for machine or hand poked tattoos, let me know that too. By default most/all flash is machine, and some designs use a touch of hand poke.You can also reach out to schedule a free touch up any time after a month of healing. Most appointments take 1-2 hours from start to finish. Larger 3-4 hour pieces can be done in one session or broken into two sessions.
Flash & Customs
Flash is non-repeatable unless otherwise noted, but if you really love a past design I’m happy to draw up something similar. Flash is priced depending on size and complexity. Each flash is individually priced and can be discounted if you want to get multiple small tattoos at one appointment. I love doing customs too! There’s no extra charge for custom designs, to get an idea on pricing you can look at flash pieces that are similar in size/complexity to what you have in mind. I’ll send you some sketches before your appointment to make sure the final design aligns with your vision.
Studio Info & Accessibility
I am a self/community taught artist certified by the Red Cross in Blood Borne Pathogens. I have 4 years experience with hand poke tattooing, and about 1 year experience machine tattooing.The studio is based out of my home in West Philadelphia, it’s accessible by trolley and bus lines and there is free street parking. A cat lives in the home who is kept out of the studio room before the appointment. Access to the studio requires crossing a bridge and taking steps up to the 3rd floor. There is space for you to bring a guest to the appointment, let me know in advance.

I will have a mask on hand at the appointment but masks are not required, you can let me know your preference at the beginning of the appointment. Please reschedule if you are feeling sick!
PAYMENT
A non-refundable $40 deposit is required to book the appointment, which goes towards your tattoo. You are welcome to book for you and a friend to get tattoos at the same time if a deposit is sent for both people. If you need to reschedule your appointment, this deposit will carry over to the new date. For the deposit, I accept venmo @chloehoward. For the appointment, I accept cash, debit/credit cards, and venmo. There is a nearby ATM in Mariposa Co-op.Pricing is sliding scale with a $50 minimum, and a maximum discount of 50% (e.g. a piece listed at $250 could be done for $125). If you have a craft/skill to trade for all or part of your tattoo, I may be interested! For example: tattoos, sewing, nail art, knitting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, food, herbal tinctures, etcetera. If you’d like to do sliding scale pricing and/or want to ask about trading, let me know when booking.
Before Your Appointment

1. Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the area you’re getting tattooed.
2. Come well rested and hydrated, bring water & snacks!
3. Avoid blood-thinning substances like alcohol, or blood thinning medications (e.g. NSAIDs like Advil and Aleve).
